OnGreen is looking for social individuals with a passion for green technology to be an ambassador of www.Ongreen.com.
The position will focus on networking on campus with environmental groups, the university’s sustainability department, students, and professors, as well as attending certain regional greentech events as an OnGreen representative.
Responsibilities:
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work with current student environmental clubs and organizations
• Reach out to the school sustainability department
• Recruit professors to be Experts on the OnGreen website
• Help identify promising green start-ups in the area and get them onto the site
• Network with entrepreneurs, professional experts, and service providers at events in your area—we’ll provide passes.
• Post original content on the OnGreen website relating to events attended or industry news
• Creatively build campus interest in OnGreen
This is a fast-paced, exciting, and emerging industry where you would be in a first-look position when it comes to new technology and innovative companies
Qualifications / Abilities
• Actively involved in student organizations
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for networking and attending industry related events
• Ability to work on projects independently with only moderate oversight
• Ability to self-motivate and balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven leadership abilities strongly preferred, but not required
