I2SL mission
• Promote efficient and environmentally responsible facilities for science education, testing, medicine, research and development (R&D) through advanced and sustainable design, engineering, and operational practices
• Encourage the development of technologically advanced, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsive laboratories throughout the world; and
• Facilitate a sustainable, "whole-building" approach to designing, engineering, constructing, and operating laboratories and other high-tech facilities.
