Renu Energy is an independent power producer (IPP) that is developing distributed-solar projects in those areas of North America where the most favorable Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) and feed-in-tariffs (FiT) exist. We develop, build, and operate distributed solar power systems connected to the existing distribution grid. We market renewable power to our customers in North America at competitive rates via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or Feed-in Tariff (FiT). We develop both ground-based and roof-based solar power plants that are interconnected at utility substations or on a distribution network. Our development of solar energy projects provides a predictable cashflow and favorable rate of return on investment.

Our primary customers are utilities who buy power for resale to their retail customers and solar renewable energy credits (SREC’s) produced by our solar projects. We also work with large commercial customers to sell power directly to the customer via a long term power purchase agreement.
