The demand for power generation has been increasing quite rapidly due to growth of industries, higher demand from irrigation, rural electrification and increased population etc. The committee appointed by the Power Ministry has estimated to augment the power requirement, the capacity addition required by 2012 is an additional 100,000 MW.

What is the Target Market?:

The Government of Tamilnadu has taken all earnest steps to promote and develop non-conventional energy and its nodal agency Tamilnadu Energy Development Agency., has identified various sources of energy including generation of power from bio-mass.

Considering the huge potential, the promoters, who are agriculturist cum financiers having credible experience in managing have decided to set up 10 MW biomass power generation plant at TUTICOIN District, Tamilnadu and for this purpose, they have incorporated M/s RSG ENERGY PRIVATE LIMITED, CHENNAI.
