Business

Business Overview:

In December of 2009, researchers announced that the radiation from CT scans is fatal. In fact, CT scans done just in 2007 will cause 29,000 cancers and kill 15,000 Americans.

In November of 2009, the US Preventive Task Force declared that women under 50 should not get yearly mammograms. The risk of getting cancer from the mammogram is too high.

We solve these problems. Non-invasive technology, especially near infrared, is the new frontier in medicine.

This technology is as good as it gets. This opportunity is as good as it gets. In rural and remote areas of the world, patients will be able to receive safe and inexpensive breast scans and brain scans. In the USA, we will reduce medical costs $2.5B annually with just the breast cancer application.

Technology

Describe in detail the technology used in the Project - Address the innovation in significant detail :

The NIR Image 2700 near infrared camera detects breast tumors as small as .06th of an inch, brain tumors .12th of an inch, shrapnel in the brain and Inflammatory Breast Cancer. A mammogram only detects tumors .48 of an inch. In addition, the NIR Image 2700 provides a 3D image of the tumor or shrapnel in “real time” to a laptop PC. The image can then be transmitted to a hospital or physician. All this without radiation.

What are the principles of the technology? :

Using infrared imaging to identify/detect cancers and other foreign bodies with higher resolution and greater safety than currently deployed products permit.

Are you still looking for funding? This technology hits home with me. My mother died from a recurrence of breast cancer and my wife was recently told she has recurrence of her's.

I am happy to sign a NDA, though I will need a detailed business plan to see if one of my investment groups would be interested in this project.

Please call or write if you are interested.

Best of luck,

John Ward
