OnGreen is the world’s largest cleantech social marketplace. Members from across the globe work together, connecting the best ideas in cleantech to funding and expertise and translating IP into ROI. Nearly 300 start-ups have posted over $2B in funding opportunities from 35 countries, and our surveys have shown that more than half of those start-ups are contacted by prospective investors as a result of posting. More recently, OnGreen has begun working with a subset of its top deals to provide more exposure and assistance -- a program called Deal Accelerator. We’re now looking for a Director to manage that program.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in management and deal sourcing within Venture Capital or Private Equity. You will be involved with deal sourcing, detailed due diligence, advising companies and assisting in managing the team and in defining its strategy. Ability to analyze to perform deals for companies in different stages including start-ups for both technical and business readiness is essential.
Qualifications:
-- 5 - 10 years of management and deal making experience within a venture capital firm, private equity fund or investment bank
-- Experience in working in the Cleantech space (Preferred)
-- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
-- Ability to work well under pressure and with shifting priorities
-- Good execution and follow through skills
-- Degree in business and/or engineering
-- CFA or MBA a plus
-- Ability to speak / read Chinese a plus
-- FINRA Series 79 and 24 licenses required
-- Local candidates preferred. No relocation offered.
