About This Opportunity:

GreenVolts is looking for a HCPV Receiver Development Leadto join our growing team of world-class engineers and technology professionals. As a member of a very dynamic team you will be relied upon to develop, characterize and validate critical engineering and manufacturing test systems for OptoElectronic High Concentration PhotoVoltaic (HCPV) components and sub-systems. This position reports directly to the Director of Module Engineering.

Some of the things you will do:

Plan, manage and execute HCPV optoelectronic receiver design, development, test and validation, ensuring that HCPV product requirements are met;
Evaluate materials and develop processes suitable for high-volume, high-yield production of high-reliability product;
Support Manufacturing Engineering deployment of receiver technology to contract manufacturing partners, including through design documentation and work instructions;
Generate and manage specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, quality control procedures, test reports and other documentation in support of designs;
Act as a thought leader on solar cell packaging and receiver technology to continuously improve existing designs and enable disruptive future products;
Mentor and coach engineering staff to continue to build and maintain the world class GV team.

Some of things we believe the ideal person will have:

PhD/EE, ME, Physics or related and a minimum of 10 years of relevant optoelectronic packaging and device development and assembly experience;
A high level of motivation and ability to drive architecture, design and deployment of high-reliability solutions;
A high degree of analytical capability with demonstrated experience in analyzing and validating data;
High-level experience as both an individual contributor and as a technical lead or program manager and experience in high-volume manufacturing environments;
Experience delivering product through contract manufacturing partners;
Demonstrated success at wearing multiple hats in a highly dynamic, cross-functional organization.
