Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative sales of online advertising to select green and sustainable companies to drive revenue for our network of web-based publications.
• Maintain a high volume of activity to prospect, qualify, close and manage national prospects via telephone and email from your virtual or home office location.
• Play an integral role in the business development and launch of The Green Connoisseur private label line of lifestyle products.
• Local travel to represent The Green Connoisseur at green and sustainable industry functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of online sales experience with a proven track record of achievement in a competitive telesales environment.
• Experience managing media agency relationships preferred.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills on the telephone and via email.
• Internet, email, MS Word and MS Excel proficiency required.
• Computer with high-speed Internet connection and mobile telephone communication required
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the green and sustainable sales marketplace that engage in an eco-friendly lifestyle.

Compensation

• Realistic first year earning potential of $55,000 +
• Performance-based compensation with residuals.
• 20% uncapped commission on gross revenue from new business generated.
• 5% residual commission on gross revenue from recurring client relationships.
• 5% uncapped commission on consumer sales related to personally generated private label business accounts.
• 1099 Independent contractor position.
