Looking for a part time Online Advertising Sales Associate to contact potential advertisers to pitch online company's advertising program. Must be friendly, outgoing and have experience in online advertising sales. We are seeking goal-oriented, motivated closers to join our team.
The ideal Sales Associate is enthusiastically focused on cold calling, building a pipeline and closing new customers, and building solid, mutually-beneficial relationships with advertising accounts. Must have strong persistent, yet polite follow up skills.
Must have strong attention to detail, work ethic, integrity and drive to achieve results with minimal supervision. Candidate will also be responsible for collecting payments on ads placed in a timely manner.
Applicant must have their own laptop computer, be computer and internet savvy. Must be proficient in the use of MS Windows, Office, Outlook, and power point. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
Applicant must be highly motivated and self driven, with exceptional time management skills. Successful applicant will have a "people" personality: outgoing, engaging and friendly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Meet monthly sales
• Must be able to identify and pitch potential advertising sponsor partners.
• Must have job-related knowledge: Experience in online advertising sales required, including demonstrated comfort and success with cold calling and lead generation. Successful applicant will have a quantifiable history of growing their territory.
• Applicant must be able to cultivate brand loyalty through superior customer service skills including, but not limited to, advice on ad creation, promotion of editorial exposure opportunities, exploration of how the company's variety of products can fulfill marketing needs, etc.
• Preparation of powerpoint decks for presentations and prospective client pitches
• Documentation of campaign progress in case studies for future client work
• Applicant must be willing and able to accommodate multiple fluctuating deadlines. Applicant must be eager to work as a member of a team. The successful applicant will enjoy meeting new people, never missing an opportunity to make a connection.
• Able to work independently but also collaborate
• Prioritizing projects and completing them in a timely manner
• This is a part time position, work from home. This person will also help strategize and build program to meet and exceed company goals. You will be an independent contractor in this position.
