OnGreen Hires New Vice President of Business Development to Help Secure Key Cleantech and Investment Partnerships

Los Angeles, CA - December 02, 2010

Los Angeles startup OnGreen today announced the hiring of Erik Steeb to take on the role of Vice President of Business Development in the U.S. Erik will be based at the firm's headquarters and will manage a team of business development and marketing associates and will report directly to Nikhil R. Jain, Chief Executive Officer of OnGreen.

"The cleantech industry is poised to enter a period of unprecedented growth and expansion, with business partnerships and collaboration increasingly generating the bulk of innovation and growth," said Jain. "Bringing on someone with Erik's experience will ensure that we expand our partnerships in the cleantech and investment community.”

Steeb is a recognized leader in the cleantech and high tech industries. Most recently, he held the position of California Regional Director for Cleantech Open, a non-profit organization dedicated to find, fund and foster the most successful cleantech startups. Between 1987 and 2007, Steeb held esteemed positions at Intel Corporation including Director of Marketing and Director of Sales. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BS in Microelectronics and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Having already secured $1.4 million of Series A funding in November, OnGreen is well positioned to take the next steps towards Series B funding after filling additional key positions of Product Manager, COO and Marketing Manager. The company seeks to close Series B funding in the beginning of 2011.
