Tidal and Wave energy can be harvested using floating devices, which contain an electrical generator. The floating device is connected through a wire or rope to a buoyant ball in the water, connected via pulleys to an anchor on the ocean floor. As the waves and tides change the water level and waves are moving towards the beach or the opposite direction the rope is translating the energy to the rotations of the wheel connected to the said generator in the floating device.
