Now that you're a member of OnGreen, start to add depth to your profile.
1. Upload a profile picture.
This helps your profile stand out by adding a level of professionalism versus those with stock photos. Legitimizes your profile and helps brand you and your business. Creates trust, as people now feel that they are communicating with an actual person.
2. Take the time to craft an informative and concise bio.
Establishes who you are within the green business community and gives a sense of your personality. Lets you tailor your message to the specific part of the green business community with which you would like to connect.
3. Fill out your industry, employment and education information.
Makes you more likely to be found by potential business partners. Gives a good sense of your interests and background.
4. Include a video of yourself.
Words on a screen can never describe you or your business as well as a nice video. This is the place for you to show the OnGreen community who you are. Think about this as an Elevator Pitch for yourself.
5. Ensure greentech category is complete.
This field is very important, as it tells all visitors what industry you are in and therefore allows them to more easily find you utilizing filters.
6. Example of a good profile.
