THE REVOLUTIONARY GREEN MEETS GREEN EXPO TO DEBUT IN SAN DIEGO — JANUARY 2010

San Diego, CA – On Friday, January 22nd - 23rd - 24th, 2010, the doors will open to the newest and most exciting concept in green living events. The brainchild of nationally renowned show promoters, Calendar Shows LLC, The Green Meets Green Expo will fill both the O’Brien and Bing Crosby Exhibition Halls at the Del Mar Fairgrounds with over 400 exhibitors featuring both new-age and old-age products and technologies that are environmentally friendly don’t hurt the earth.

Consumers today are very conscious about the planet they inhabit. They thirst for information about the products that make environmental and economic good sense. For three days, the Green Meets Green Expo will offer these consumers the opportunity to do just that.

Did you know you can furnish your entire home in green? Fill your closet with the latest fashions in green? Commute to work in green? Be a green gourmand? The Green Meets Green Expo will show you how and offer you the products and technology to do so.

The concept of the Green Meets Green Expo was inspired by a movement in the United Kingdom. The antiques industry in Britain, one of the largest centers for this type of commerce in the world, is petitioning Parliament to be designated as green. It’s obvious — antiques are completely recycled products and should be recognized as such. As producers of one of the largest antiques shows in America, The Del Mar Antiques Show, Calendar Shows was perfectly positioned to spearhead this movement in the United States. And on January 22, 2010, the Green Meets Green Expo will unveil this meeting of the new green and the old green to the world.

The Old Green: The Del Mar Antiques Show — Over 300 antique exhibitors will fill the O’Brien Exhibition Hall with everything from the finest quality furniture, clothing, and home decorative accessories that don’t hurt the earth. They’ve all been recycled and some from over 300 years ago! The Del Mar Antiques Show will offer conscious consumers the opportunity to see antiques in a whole new planet-friendly light.

The New Green: 21st Century Friends of the Planet Market — The Bing Crosby Exhibition Hall will be filled with exhibitors featuring new-age environmentally conscious products and technology. From building products to baby clothes, from high-style fashions to transportation alternatives, from solar energy to green cuisine, The Friends of the Planet Expo will offer the latest developments and products in this cutting edge technology.
