I am the manager of the Capital Access Program (CAP) at Green For All, a national organization working to build an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. CAP aims to support green small businesses by mobilizing financial and social capital, so they'll be better positioned to create, sustain, and scale green jobs. One of our most important initiatives is a complimentary Coaching Platform that we will be launching on Nov. 2, in which we pair green entrepreneurs with their own certified business coach for up to one year. I strongly believe this will be a tremendous resource that can contribute to the growth of green small businesses, as well as the ongoing development of their founder's personal leadership potential.
Interested parties will not be expected to pay anything for this valuable service, and there are no strings attached. We are simply a nonprofit organization that is committed to supporting green entrepreneurs -- particularly women and people of color -- through the provision of numerous resources. By participating in the program, entrepreneurs would be connected with their own dedicated, certified business coach, for up to two hours of coaching per month, for one full year. We would also post a profile of the entrepreneur and their business on our heavily trafficked website, thereby generating promotional support for the enterprise.
