How can a manufacturer of traditionally polluting heavy industrial equipment transition into the wind tower business?

I have a client in the midwest that I've advised on and off during the years.  Despite T. Boone Pickens pulling back on his wind energy project, this client is still interested . . . they have the manufacturing capacity, but other than that, they are clueless as to where to start.  Thoughts?
