Well, if you doubted his sanity before this should settle the issue for you. In a recent New York Post Article "The Donald" stated that due to the unseasonably cold termperatures and record snowfall on the East Coast this winter, that Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize for his work on climate change should be revoked.

Huffington Post got the jump on this coverage and has a few choice quotes called out:

"With the coldest winter ever recorded, with snow setting record levels up and down the coast, the Nobel committee should take the Nobel Prize back from Al Gore."

Another winning remark from this self-appointed climate change expert:

"Gore wants us to clean up our factories... when China and other countries couldn't care less... China, Japan and India are laughing at America's stupidity."

Anyone with even the least bit of familiarity with this issue is quick to realize how inane it is to make a generalization about the global climate based upon the seasonal conditions in a limited geographic region.  The problem is that those less familiar with this issue might fail to grasp the reality of the situation and take Trump's remarks at face value.

Another guy trying to go green and not knowing anything about it and what it really means. Good post, Oliver.

Thanks, Scottie... At this point I think that anyone denying climate change based upon localized weather needs to take a trip to Greenland to see what is really going on.

The sad think is that it's people with resources like Trump that have the greatest near-term ability to do something positive instead of making noise and deflecting attention away from the problem. Too bad that instead "The Donald" is focused on Network Marketing instead of saving the planet...
