My name is Samantha Cobos, I am the creator and owner of “PURE Inspired Design” (http://www.pureinspiredhome.com). We launched a beautiful line of Eco-Friendly furnishings showcased at the reVISION green retrofit showcase home sponsored by Green Builder Media which was open during the 2010 International Builder’s Show held in Las Vegas, NV. The showcase home was a huge success and the impact of the furniture, pillows, and rugs provided by PURE Inspired Design received enormous positive feedback.
I'm an interior designer in Minnesota with a focus on Green Design. During my research I uncovered manufacturers with a similar commitment to green design and then began sketching my own designs. As time unfolded I realized that I had a unique, fresh approach to textile and rug design. This is a talent I did not know I had!
I did not stop at creating my own patterns; I spent several months developing 5 beautiful color schemes and then came up with the idea of creating Scheme Kits. I wanted to be unique and give my customers a no fail system for combining patterns and colors. The Scheme Kits, available through the PURE Inspired Design Home Store, include not only all the fabrics, but also other valuable tools to assist in creating a perfectly coordinated home that is beautiful, unique, and most importantly eco-friendly!
All my products are eco-friendly. The pattern fabrics are printed on organic cotton. The rugs are 100% sustainable wool. The upholstery is constructed of eco-friendly materials. I’ve done a lot of research so I can proudly stand behind all my products!
When I was asked to be involved in the reVISION showcase home the timing could not have been better. I had just completed my designs and needed an impactful way to enter the market. The green reVISION house gave me the perfect environment to launch my furnishings – the interior designer running the project let me take the lead with the interior colors – everything looked beautiful - it was all very exciting and rewarding to be involved in a GREEN showcase home!
