Anyone been involved in a community grid solution (specifically rural) using Solar/Wind/micro-hydro/Bio-fuel/hybrid? Need ideas/inputs.

I have done some initial need/feasibility study at a rural location in India and am looking to work a sustainable model and Implementation plan for energy generation, local use and marketing options. I am also looking for possible collaborative efforts.
