Interesting article on how the Chinese government lavishes free land, tax breaks and other subsidies on their renewable energy companies. The point of the article is that such subsidies violate WTO regulations, but most of the people I've talked to had a different take-away: China is better at fostering the all-important green economy than the U.S., which talks about green investment and stimulus but delivers very little.
