Biography
In his current role Dr Haghseresht is responsible for identifying Intellectual Property with commercial potential arising from the ARC Centre of Excellence for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN), and building relationships with commercial partners to take the outcomes of CFN’s research to the global market via Astute Nanotechnology, which is a trading name of UniQuest Pty Limited, the main technology commercialisation company of The University of Queensland.
Prior to joining UniQuest, Dr Haghseresht was the Technical Manager of an ASX-listed company, Phsolock Water Solutions Ltd, where his responsibilities included product development, scale-up management, and working with various regulatory authorise to secure the required approvals. He also supported business development with client relationship management.
Dr Haghseresht has a Bachelor of Applied Chemistry from Queensland University of Technology and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland. He is also a graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
