Customers using Bioionix disinfection systems include major food processors, where the equipment is used to enhance food safety and allow reuse of process water for an extended period of time. The Bioonix disinfection process has broad potential applications in other industrial applications as well. These include the treatment of oil and gas industry fracturing water to increase production, the disinfection of produced water for reuse and to meet regulatory requirements for discharge, and the disinfection of sea water injected into offshore oil fields to maintain quality by the elimination of sulfate reducing bacteria.
