Infinergy Power Limited
Developing a 60% electrically efficient power plant, we are helping to preserve our dwindling fossil-fuel reserve. To blend in renewable fuels seamlessly into the hybrid system, we utilize homegrown resources and local renewable markets. To create a further 40+ percent efficiency in the fuel blend by co-firing an emulsified aqueous stream, with no loss of power generation.
Equally, and of no less importance, Infinergy Power’s electricity generating solution answers the questions mainly raised today of both extracting more electricity from existing plants and the ability to simply and at low cost create new plants to satisfy the expected short and long term electrical growth requirements of the world without increasing greenhouse emissions.
Technology:
The synergistic approach offered by Infinergy Power’s solution will enable existing coal fired power plants to reduce the quantity of fossil fuels burnt, thus reducing emissions whilst also enabling the construction at a lower capex cost per megawatt of new plants using the full spectrum of Infinergy Power’s solution.
The shortage of electrical power is felt not only in the developed world but also intensely in the developing world. Equally, the developing world is caught between the twin pressures of minimizing harmful emissions and satisfying their populations growing demand for power to enable a poverty reduction and employment growth in a low skill environment.
Infinergy Power uses a combination of 3 initiatives that, together, reduce the total reliance on pure carbon based fuels, to double electrical output efficiency from the same volume of hydrocarbon used; therefore halving CO2.Separately:
- A highly efficient electricity generating plant, running at 60 percent electrical efficiency.
- A scientific breakthrough in fuel production to give a 40 percent reduction in hydrocarbon fuel feedstock, either fossil, renewable or a combination of both.
- The ability to use the most cost effective fuel mix, solid, liquid or gas, renewable or fossil in any percentage, supply dependant.
- A vastly more efficient heat transfer cycle
- Predictable and scalable supply of electricity, on demand
- Low cost of capex per megawatt and simplicity of design

COP17 Magazine highlights Infinergy Power's Green, Energy Efficient Technology. The two page Innovation Technology article on Infinergy Power, is in the COP 17 Climate Change Magazine, entitled "A Pioneering Solution to Enhance Energy Supplies."
COP 17 is to be held in Durban, South Africa, at the end of November 2011.

Great news.
Infinergy Power has been chosen as a finalist at The International Green Awards, Best Green Technology. The final takes place at The Natural History Museum on 24th November 2011.
