Biography
David Bayer, MA David Bayer founded Bayer Consulting LLC (www.bayer-americas.com) in 2000. In addition to managing his firm’s activities and recruiting executives in North and South America, David advises clients in finding international strategic allies, international investors, and M&A. For the past 5 years, David has advised clean energy companies and projects in their capital search process, and has created a proprietary and unique network of investors in clean energy. David's business deals and contacts span from the US to the Middle East, passing by Europe, South East Asia, Australia, Japan and Latin America (Mexico and South America). David also provides individualized job-hunting guidance to international executives. As an executive search consultant, David has run search projects for US, European, and Latin American organizations in different industries across diverse functional areas. Among his clients, David has served General Motors, Delta Airlines, The Inter-American Development Bank, Medtronic, Ovid Technologies, RCI Hudson, Hohenstein Institutes, Savoye Logistics, Frech GmbH, VP Energy, EPACEM, etc. In addition to his activities in Bayer Consulting, David Bayer has participated in other business endeavors related to executive recruitment and staffing solutions. From 2003 to 2005 David actively participated in the shaping of the global executive search network known as the International Executive Search Federation (www.iesf.com). Serving as its VP for the Americas, David was instrumental in attracting new partner members in the US, Europe and Latin America. From November of 2004 to November of 2006, David served as Vice-Chairman and Senior VP of Global Nursing International (www.global-nurses.com), an Atlanta-based nurse staffing firm that serves healthcare clients across the United States. David has interacted and worked with a broad range of business communities and groups in the US and Latin America. Before founding BC, David was an independent consultant to different companies across the US and, in 1999, he served as a business liaison between the US and Latin America in a program in which he promoted business development and technology transfer between US and Latin American companies. In 1998 David, started up the first Spanish-language programming for a radio station in Nevada, and in 1996-97 he provided support for different companies in California trying to capture the growing Spanish-speaking market in their respective industries. In 1995, he coordinated the internal communications of GM in Colombia, South America. David has a BA in Journalism, and received an MA in International Relations (with an emphasis on Latin American Studies) from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he served on the governing board of the alumni association and headed the Latin American Initiative in 2001-2002. He is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural.
