Biography
Eco-Friends Incorporated is a technology company based in middle Tennessee, and a leader in the development, testing, manufacture and management of solid waste reduction, and the development of eco-friendly engineered products. The company was founded by Michael Schieck and other environmentally concerned friends to serve the needs of commercial industries and local communities, and has grown to serve small public companies and offer many other services besides waste reduction.
Eco-Friends is unique, as being the only company to take municipal solid waste to reductions levels of 50% and produce 20 new products all under one roof, and work developing and implementing more manufacturing companies in the world. The company has the only patent pending recycling process facility in North America with this technology.

We are a company working with municipalities to divert solid waste going to landfills. By reducing, reprocessing, and reusing through innovative technologies to produce 20+ products from a negative commodity to a renewable resource. We create electricity through bio-mass, plasma gasification and solar.We also put in a hands on museum for educational purposes and a greenhouse set up for agriculture collaboration between us and the local college of that area. By creating jobs for the community and reducing the need for landfills makes this a win-win solution. We bring technology which allows us to clean brown fields and toxins, heavy metals from contaminated soils as well as hydrocarbons and petroleum based chemicals.
I do the daily operations of the business including expansions to growth possibilities through sales and networking. I work with an amazing team who have helped bring this to fruition and a dream come true. Our focus on expanding into communities to reduce all waste going to landfills as well as creating more stability within smaller communities through job creation. Helping each other with win-win situation between community, environmental and corporate deals. We aim to bring more jobs to each community we put a facility through cooperation of several other business associates and acquisitions and mergers. Every business should do their part to work for a harmonious community and remove less of the focus off the bottom line as much. The long term views of having loyalty, honor and that communication line open for all to be approachable makes even the worst job a pleasure to know your appreciated and needed. Teams are built and needed for longevity of the businesses to outlast even the worst recessions. Some may disagree but openness to be able to express these opinions allows for all on the team a voice and a sharing experience to build a greater company.These are just my thoughts and not shared by everyone in my position for I think the hierarchy corporate structure is a thing of the past and lateral management is the new coming.
