I have a commercial finance company and we have been developing relationships with funding sources who specialize in the renewable energy space. I spoke with a funding source this morning and they are looking for solar projects of 2.5 MW and up with a 10% IRR and up. Their minimum transaction size, however, is $10 million.
There may be other approaches we can take that involve other financing facilities.
